About
Illustrated Productions is an ensemble based theatre collective dedicated to developing exciting and dynamic theatre. We aim to capture the imagination of the audience through text, imagery and a little bit of magic. Born out of a love for theatre and art the collective aims to stage imaginative and emotionally engaging work that challenges audiences both young and young at heart.
Founded by actors and writers Ashleigh Dorrell and Katie McCann, the company hopes to continually challenge and push their own creative boundaries while maintaining a high standard of work. After producing two work in progress plays for Collaborations' Festival 2014 (Smock Alley Theatre) the collective went on to produce the full scale production entitled "Tales from Briar Hall" which was staged in Theatre Upstairs in August 2014.

In October 2015 we staged our hugely successful co-production Cirque des Rêves, with partener company Sickle Moon Productions, in Smock Alley Theatre and in 2016 in Bewley's Cafe Theatre. In March 2017 we produced Polly Teale's BRÖNTE at Smock Alley Theatre and the Mill Theatre Dundrum to sold out houses.
